Cricmax Eagles U12 soared to victory in the U12 Junior League Cricket Finals in Orlando, Florida, defeating RRA NJ Astros by 41 runs to claim their first championship of 2025.
Facing early setbacks, Praney Balaji (55 off 65) and Manav Garg (30 off 45) displayed remarkable composure under pressure, stitching together a crucial 73-run partnership off 90 balls. Their resilience and maturity steadied the innings, ensuring Cricmax Eagles stayed in control.
As the innings neared its end, Rohit Krishnaswamy and Praney Balaji shifted gears, smashing a rapid 39-run stand off just 17 balls, providing the perfect finishing touch. Their aggressive stroke play gave Cricmax the momentum heading into the second innings.
With a solid total on the board, the Eagles’ bowling unit defended brilliantly, never allowing RRA NJ Astros to recover. Their disciplined effort sealed a 41-run victory and a well-deserved championship title.
