The Cricmax Lions roared to victory at the Philadelphia Warhawks Labor Day Youth Tournament, emerging as the U12 Champions after a thrilling campaign marked by teamwork, strong leadership and determination.

In the finals against Golden Willow Supernovas, skipper Arjun Asrani led from the front, delivering a captain’s knock of 51 not out from 26 balls while also tightening the screws with his spell of 1/20 in five overs. His all-round brilliance rightly earned him the Player of the Match honors.

Aarush Balasubramanian was another pillar for the Lions, showcasing steady batting throughout the tournament and providing the stability needed at key moments. With the ball, Krishiv Patel stood out as a consistent wicket-taker, ensuring breakthroughs whenever the team needed them most.

Behind the stumps, Praney Balaji was a game-changer, earning the Best Wicket Keeper award for his outstanding 11 dismissals — 4 catches, 3 stumpings, and 4 runouts. His sharp glovework and presence added an extra layer of confidence to the bowling attack, making him a vital force in the Lions’ championship run.
